De Bruce is a small hamlet located in Sullivan County, New York, United States.
The name derives from one of the early investors, Elias Debrosses, An attraction for fly fishing, near the juncture of the Mongaup and Willowemoc creeks.
"The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has run the De Bruce Environmental Education Camp, for youth who are 12 to 14 years old in De Bruce."
Once home to one of the largest tanneries in the area. (find more info on this)
